Rachel Johnson is a registered dietitian and researcher specializing in infant nutrition and diabetes nutrition and disease management at Abbott.
Rachel draws on her extensive clinical background to drive global continuing education and programs to help healthcare professionals access the latest nutrition science. Her research drives the development of nutritional products and formulas that help babies get strong starts in life.
Before joining Abbott in 2000, Rachel worked as a hospital-based clinical dietitian and she provided nutrition counseling services to patients with chronic disease and illness including diabetes and HIV/AIDS.
Rachel earned a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, and Food Science from Northern Illinois University and completed her internship at Ingalls Memorial Hospital.
