Dr. Owen Kelly is the lead research scientist for renal and diabetes nutrition for the US and territories, and Canada, and supports renal nutrition globally. He is responsible for supporting established, and developing new nutritional products benefit CKD and diabetes.
Prior to joining Abbott Nutrition, in 2011, Dr. Kelly worked as an Assistant Professor in Nutrition at Texas Woman’s University (TWU) where he primarily lectured to dietetic and nursing students, as well as maintain an active research program.
Dr. Kelly earned his Bachelors and Doctorate in nutrition from University College Cork, Ireland.
