Beth Reverri is a Registered Dietitian, Nutrition Scientist, and Mother of two young children, one of whom is medically complex. At Abbott Nutrition, she primarily works on innovation for Similac with human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) internationally and regionally in Latin America. She especially enjoys conducting research, medical writing, and developing messaging on novel ingredients in infant formula and toddler drinks.
Since joining Abbott in 2017, Beth has published two articles, written two monographs, developed two modules, and given two scientific presentations.She has 10 peer-reviewed publications – most recently a review article on the research on HMOs in infants – and has presented seven posters at nutrition conferences. She has also served on leadership teams of professional associations, including the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the American Society for Nutrition.
Beth earned a BS in Dietetics and a combined MS and dietetic internship in Clinical Nutrition at Boston University and received a PhD in Nutritional Biology with a minor in Endocrinology at the University of California, Davis. Before Abbott, Beth was a Clinical Dietitian at her dietetic internship site and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and held postdoctoral positions conducting research in cardiovascular nutrition at Tufts University and The Ohio State University.
