Tama Bloch is a research scientist specializing in pediatric nutrition. Since joining Abbott in 1996, her research has helped develop nutritional products that bridge dietary gaps in children who may have eating difficulties or struggle with picky eating. She leverages her expertise to help convey nutrition research to help healthcare professionals and families better address the nutrition needs and habits of their children.

From 1982 to 1996, Tama held positions in product development and served as a nutrition coordinator for major grocery brands. She also has worked as a clinical dietitian at the University Hospitals of Cleveland.

An active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Ohio Dietetic Association, Tama has a Bachelor of Science in dietetics from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
