Barbara Marriage is a pediatric research dietitian and scientist with Abbott. She is a foremost expert in genetic metabolic disorders and has conducted extensive global research in pediatric nutrition contributing to the development of nutrition therapies that help children with metabolic disorders get the nutrition they need to flourish. Barbara’s research interests include maternal nutrition, early programming, childhood obesity and inborn errors of metabolism.
Barbara has published over 25 articles in peer-reviewed journals, written book chapters and newsletters, and has given many presentations on nutrition-related topics.
Barbara received a BSc in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph, an MSc in Nutrition and a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Alberta.
